First the philosophy is different, it does not attempt to stabilize the lamphead. Instead it measures the lamphead brightness, and compensates its three digit timer (0.1 seconds to 99.9 seconds) accordingly; for example, if your lamphead doubles in brightness, the timer cuts the exposure in half automatically.
