The Zeiss code was 11.2425. This lens is one of the most famous and rare lenses in the Contarex line and was introduced at Photokina in 1966. The focus and diaphragm are smooth. The lens has no dents. No brassing. There is really almost no wear and overall a beautiful example. The glass is very clean and clear. There is NO separation and I see no fungus, haze or obvious scratches. There is some minor dust that just cannot be avoided in a lens like this. The lens is marked "Lens Made in Germany". You get the original lens hood, rear lens cap and rubber grip. I will include a front cap, but it is not original. The filter size is 67mm. Overall a 9+ and a very important addition to any Contarex collection. There were about 1000 made and to find one in this condition is nearly impossible.
