I highly recommend this to those that enjoy being in the darkroom enlarging from film, color or black and white.I have also used this lens on my 4x5 camera and it does a fair job of covering with soft edges and light fall off on the edges of the image for distant subjects and is better suited for close up work where distortion can be fun when using movements of your camera. This lens acts as a wide angle lens in this format. I have not mounted this lens to my rangefinders, but with these old lenses anything is possible for the creative mind.
