hdv-footage     WATERFALLS of BC and ALBERTA1080i HDV ROYALTY FREE  STOCK FOOTAGENEW 4 DVD-ROM COLLECTION BUY NOW FROM OUR EBAY STORE You are bidding on a one of a kind set of brand new HDV landscape stock footage of waterfalls, shot with the SONY HDR-FX1 HDV camcorder.  Wave Length Productions is a leader in royalty free stock footage and there products are always done in house. None of this footage has been outsourced in anyway. This is not crappy footage from archives, this is full quality HDTV compatible images. Frequently asked Questions about our HDV Stock Footage How compatible is this stock footage? Can I edit with Final Cut Pro, Vegas Video or Adobe Premiere? All of the above. A lot of competitors are selling there stock footage as raw captured files from there HDV camcorders. This is great as it can save space, yet there usually MPEG files, and truthfully are a little hard to edit. We make our files full resolution QUICKTIME 1440 x 1080 files. This makes it easy to use with MOST editing systems. What kind of clips do I get in this set? There are 4 discs all together of waterfalls in BC and Alberta. Is this footage interlaced or progressive? Interlaced. The Sony FX1 shoots an interlaced image. If you are looking for a progressive image, you can easily convert this footage to progressive in most editing programs. Will this footage play on a mid-grade PC or Mac? The footage is big. 1440 x 1080 images take up a giant amount of space, thus taking a lot of power to play. Even on a high-grade computer, it will be hard to play perfectly smooth. This is something that can definitely be worked around. Many editing programs have preview features that can easily recognize large HDV files, by making the footage editable, before your final export. Is this 3 chip footage or 1 chip, because I heard that HDV is only 1 chip?  This is a very good question. This footage is full 3 CHIP HDV footage. Some competitors have 1 chip HDV footage. The footage from a 1 chip camera will be fine, but will lack the color depth of this 3 chip HDV stock footage. Be aware that the early HDV camcorders are only 1 chip camcorders. How many clips on this 4 disc set? This 4 disc set has 32 clips totalling over 5 minutes of the best footage you can buy. This is because of the large size of these files, but you are getting uncompromised quality with this footage. No down-converted video, just full 1080i footage. Plus, best of all, you can start editing right away.  No annoying converting! Can I purchase this without bidding? Of course.
