The top shade and the back of the lantern read, "Carbutt's Dry Plate Lantern."  The following is also there, but I either don't know what it means or it's in a foreign language:  "Multum in parvo." Overall, it is in good condition with some wear to the black finish, mostly on the top. When one of the side doors is opened, there is a milk-white glass.   The other side door has a red glass with the tin around it cut in a 3-1/2" circle. The inside is empty.  I assume there originally was a candle or some form of lamp for the inside. It measures approx. 19" tall to the top of the wooden handle and 8-3/4" wide and 13-1/2" deep with the hood extended.  Shipping/handling is based on a weight of 7 pounds from Bernhards Bay, NY  13028.  Insurance is highly recommended as we are not responsible for loss or damage during shipping.
