There are three version of this type of Monroe Camera and this is the middle-size model.  The approx. date of manufacture for this camera is around 1899. There are no specific marking on the camera but has a number on the inside left corner of “5134”.   The camera uses sheet film and has its brass dark slide on the back section of the camera.  This camera has a beautiful wooden side behind the lens/shutter.  The camera shutter is very simple and is working and has a neat top viewfinder. The leather covering is complete on the camera body and could use some “touch up” as far as stain/coloring. Strut are brass and looks neat.  I have shown in one photo a blue tint photo that was taken with this camera.   Overall condition of this Camera is Very Good to Excellent and is very rare camera to find.  It was part of my collection for over 30 plus years.
