It is board for board identical to the Sony DVW-A500 (yes you can interchange boards)Speaking of boards, this unit has the Analog I/O card and has super low (original) head hours. (See the pic for the details) You are welcome to come by the shop and look at it on a scope or bring a test tape. I would prefer local pick up, because this thing is a bear to pack and ship but if you are willing to pay to have it boxed and shipped I am all game, I will only charge what ever it cost me plus 50 bucks for my time running the deck around.
