Description
For Sale is a Televue 7mm Nagler Type 6, ultra-wide-angle 82° field of view eyepiece. The Type 6 is Al Nagler's latest design, using state-of-the-art optical materials and techniques to obtain pinpoint image sharpness to the very edge of the field (all are QC quality control tested at a fast f/4). It features outstanding transparency and incredible contrast, in a very compact package. It is for 1.25" focusers, and very lightweight (7.9 oz.) for minimal balance issues in any scope. This eyepiece has received an outstanding 9.8/10.0 rating from 69 independent reviewers on www.excelsis.com ! Typical reviewer comments on this eyepiece: " This is one of the best eyepieces I have ever used in this power range. Works great in fast scopes. I use it in my 17.5" f/5 and friends f/4.5 and it is sharp to the edge. Everyone who has looked through it is amazed, even more so when I do the field of view trick (50 degree Plossl eyepiece first, then the Nagler) !! " " Wow! I forgot about the price the moment I took my first look through this Nagler in my 78 f6.6 Stellarview. Sharp to the edge. Bright, contrasty images, and a wonderful field of view. I don't see any kidney beaning, and think it barlows beautifully." " Contrast, contrast, contrast! I've seen fuzzies with this 7mm that were never apparent in any other eyepiece owned, in my 8" Schmidt-Cassegrain. "The eyepiece is in excellent optical and physical condition, almost like new ! It comes with both end caps and plastic bolt case. Made in Japan. Notice to International Bidders: Buyers are responsible for knowing the customs charges at their own end, and bidding accordingly! I will not falsify customs forms or send the eyepiece uninsured, to avoid these fees. Thank you for your attention!
