The drawtube glides on 4 bearing with 1.6 inch travel, a built-in tension knob for adjusting the "feel" to match your preference to give zero image shift and zero backlash, with a second fine adjustment knob with a 10:1 ratio for ultra smooth and fine adjustment. The friction can be adjusted with a large thumbscrew. A second thumbscrew can lock the focuser tightly in position.
