Description Take a look at this great serial number!! ( # 302 ) A great 6.5" X 8.5" tailbord camera marked Scovill Mfg. Co. N.Y. and on front lenses board. The serial number is on the body front, the rear below the GG and on bottom rear tailboard. Rear track is stamped Scovill also. The side plates where the finger lock is are stamped - Patented Ot. 20, 1885. Body is very good with a small chip off wood on the front upper right off but still looks great and an important piece of history. There is case that I got with camera and an Original glass plate holder stamped Scovill and matching serial number of #178 on both the main body of it and the bottom of the glass plate bottom insert guide. Lens is an early Ross London #4122 on top side and the bottom side has Goerz Patent on top line ans the 2nd. line has 8.25 inch Double Anastigmat F:7.7 in fancy script. Lense board has had a couple other lenses on it with a few old wood filler marks evident but I think it has character. PayPal Users must follow PayPal rules when shipping.
