Hasselblad Schneider C 140-280mm Variogon Zoom Lens features a Synchro-Compur shutter with speeds 1 sec to 1/500 sec, B, with flash sync at all speeds, and Schneider multicoating. This lens has a short to long telephoto effect with a 16 to 30 degree diagonal angle of view, and distortion and flare are well controlled. It has superb image sharpness, and excellent contrast. The image quality is high at all focal lengths and comparable with corresponding fixed focal length lenses. This incredible 2X zoom spans the focal length range from portraits to distant action and then allows you to capture the finer points of any subject. From long shots to detailed views, the superb optical quality will make this one of your most valued lenses. Versatile not only for its focal length range, in macro mode the Variogon is capable of focusing as close as 30 inches (0.76m).It is in excellent condition with minor signs of use, minor marks on the black paint of the focus ring, zoom control ring, mid and rear lens barrels (otherwise it looks just superb). The glass is clean and fungus free, absolutely perfect except a very few tiny dust particles which do not affect the optical performance. Shutter speeds check out well. Its zoom control functions perfectly. The focus system is very smooth and operating perfectly. Its aperture is fast and free, absolutely no oil on the blades (minimum f45). The filter size is 93 for filter holder. Serial number 13 745 xxx. Made in Germany.
