It is a spring wind camera but can also be hand cranked with the included and hard to find winding handle. The camera is in nice shape and doesn't seem to have had much use. As expected with a vintage camera from the 1920s there is normal user wear in the form of worn paint here and there. The black crinkle paint still looks nice though. The camera comes with the original Wollensak 50mm Lens. The body of the lens is in great shape and both the apreture and focus turn smoothly. Also included in this auction is... the well worn leather camera case, the top of which has separated from the rest of the case. The original leather shoulder strap which clips to the two metal rings on the top of the camera so you can carry it around and do those groovy hand held shots. The often lost Winding/Hand Crank and the Lens Port Cover The camera has a few ways to view/frame your shots. On top is a Sports Type Finder, and also available is a built-in parallex type Opticle Viewer. Both could use a bit of a cleaning. I was able to run the camera (without film) using both the internal spring wind motor as well as cranking it by hand. Being that the camera is from the 1920's, you may want to lube the camera before doing any shooting with film. There's also is a built-in footage counter to keep track of how much footage you've used.  Included is an empty take up spool, which can be hard to find at times. And lastly, the camera outfit comes with a copy of the extreamly hard to find Factory Instruction Manual which shows all you need to know to operate this camera as well as all oil points to keep it purring along.  This auction includes the.....
