This one is model EOS IXe, meaning Eye Control, just like Canon EOS Elain IIe, your eye controls the focus point at will. This camera belongs to my sister-in-law and she used it for less than 10 rolls, mostly on orchards, her favourite hobby. It uses the very same Canon EF auto focus lens, the same lens on modern day digital Canons, so this si a very good back up camera just in case you run out of battery on your digital Canon, a very likely possibility. The lens is a Canon zoom lens EF 35-70mm/f 3.5-4.5 made in Japan with metal lens mount. I have to mention the fact it is metal lens mount because Canon made a lot of cheap lens using plastic lens mount. Comes with original lens cap, original carrying strap and a Kenko VU 52mm filter plus two brand new CR123A Lithium batteries. If you are curious, the camera body was also made in Japan.
