Total length collapsed is 41", extended 68", weighs about 14lb. (I'm estimating shipping at 17lb). The "bowl" the head sits in is 3in'. All of the movements lock properly. Pan, tilt etc. lock properly, move smoothly and are very, very well-dampened. One of the knobs is partially broken off (see pics). QR plate has 3 3/8" theads through, but it set up with 1/4" stud. The 3/8" stud is also included and is stored screwed into the end of one of the arms (Genius!!!)There is very minor wear from use: a few little scuffs and scratches and light finish wear on the corners where the quick-release plate mounts, but it doens't look as if it ever saw any heavy profesisonal use.
