Description  My friend Michael always buys the best of the best, and then manages to discover that wasn't what he wanted in the first place.  So it was with the Profoto set-up for sale here, and the carbon fiber Gitzo offered in another listing.  Oh, and the Vinten head in yet another listing.Just to give you some idea of where he's at, he just paid well over two grand for another Gitzo tripod that will fit in his airline-approved carry-on bag.Anyhoo, if you're looking at this, you probably already know what it is, and I'm not going to throw around a lot of tech talk.  The Profoto website has all the info about this system, as do a number of the larger New York photo vendors.As I understand it, there were two heads he chose between when he bought this.  One cost about $900, and the other one cost $1300.  You know very well which one he purchased.  The condition of these two pieces is very much what you'd expect to see in a store display.The "untouched by human hands" aura isn't there, but otherwise they could be taken for new demo units.I seriously doubt he used them more than a half dozen times after he bought them last year.As always, I guarantee this to be a fair and accurate description.The shipping charge is high because of both weight and insurance.I'll definitely use UPS insured service, and you will receive a tracking number as soon as it ships.I understand that Paypal is sometimes sticky about making large payments in one chunk, and if there's a problem I'll jigger the billing so as to make it work. Buy this thing.  Michael wants a D3 to go with his Canon 1Ds Mark III.Thanks.
