This light kit provides a 2000 Watt equivalent of tungsten lighting. It works well for video lighting too, so you can use it to videotape family events, parties, office conferences or any occasion. Two of these cool light soft boxes can provide a 6ft x 6ft x 6ft area that will be properly lit for photography and video taping. This light kit can be used to take pictures of subjects that are up to 6ft in length/tall.   Many people have been asking us how we create our photographs of items, some of which are as large as a coat, that appear to be floating on a white background. This soft box studio set provides enough light to create such a white background. Most digital cameras work pretty well with this light kit, but the results may vary depending on your camera's capability. Cameras with larger lenses usually do a better job compared to a smaller lens camera. We used a Nikon D70 SLR camera with a 28mm-70mm lens to create these sample pictures set against a pure white background. And we did in a snap!   Two of these soft boxes come with a middle fabric piece, which can be attached to the edge of the soft boxes to form a light tent. The size of the light tent is 32"L x 32"W x 40"H, so you have an enclosed tent space to take picture. You need a large table that is at least 32" x 40" to setup the soft box tent. The light tent helps reduce shadows, and produces photos with more clarity.
