We have only used this on 2 or three shoots. The pin on the hot shoe is a standard single pin - if you wanted TTL for Nikon, Canon or Hasselblad, you'd have to add the correct dedicated quickshoe. We have a hasselblad H3d and a Nikons and I have used this in auto mode on both - except for the lack of hi-speed sync on the nikons - the auto mode works pretty much as well as the Nikon dedicated. If you go into manual mode and set the distance and aperture - it pretty much kicks butt as an outdoor flash. We found that we never used the hasselblad indoors and for outdoors we have Profoto's . . . so this great powerful flash unit has sat in the bag almost since we purchased it. The charger for the battery is of course included . . . and yes instructions and a wide angle diffuser . . . sorry no box.
