Start Price USD 3,850.00 Current Price USD 3,850.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Tuesday, July 22, 2008 End Time Tuesday, July 29, 2008 Location Chapel Hill, North Carolina See more about 'McDonald Pneumatic Digital Professional Dry Mount Press' Description McDonald Pneumatic Digital Professional Dry Mount Press Welcome to my auction!Included in this auction is the McDonald Press, Sears air compressor and a 60"x90' roll of MPP canvas that is coated on one side with heat activated adhesive.   The McDonald A2000 has a  digital temperature readout for extremely accurate platen heating.  It uses air pressure to produce up to 100 psi, so it does require an air compressor which is included in this auction.  A two (green) button activation system makes sure that fingers are out of the way when the press closes and has a safety release button (red).  It has a digital countdown timer that automatically opens the press when the preset time is up.  With all these features, you cannot make a mistake when operating it.  Prints cannot be left in the press too long- just start and walk away!The platen is 22" x 26" and is open on both sides to allow mounting of anything 44" wide by any length and up to 2" thick.  Physical specs are:  28" wide, 31" deep, 50" high, 120v.I bought it new and it is in excellent condition and has never failed to produce a perfect mount.  It is extremely heavy but is on wheels so it can be moved around your workspace by one person.   Please contact me with any questions.
