Description
Leitch routing equipment lot (more pictures at bottom) This auction includes the following equipment: 1) Leitch Via 32 audio router via32x32a2 (s/n: 9821573) 2) Leitch Via 32 video router via32x32v (s/n: 9821444) 3) Leitch HD 16x16D data router (s/n: 9822009) 4) Leitch Xplus modular routing switcher FR-X+1RU (s/n: 9820852) 5) Letich Xplus modular routing switcher FR-X+2RU (s/n: LHTI0134093036) 6) Leitch RCP-16x16P remote panel (s/n: LHTL0142626008) 7) Leitch RCP-16x1P remote panel (s/n: 9829770) 8) Leitch RCP-ABA XY alphanumeric breakaway remote panel (s/n: 9820844) 9) Leitch RCP-ABA XY alphanumeric breakaway remote panel (s/n: 9820845) 10) Leitch RCP-ABA XY alphanumeric breakaway remote panel (s/n: 9820846) Condition: This came as part of a studio liquidation. We are not familiar enough with this equipment to properly test it to full factory specification. Therefore, we are listing it as one low-priced lot, rather than breaking it up individually. All the other equipment from this same liquidation was in excellent working condition and this should be no exception. This all came from a working environment. We did do basic tests to see that the equipment powered up and to test basic functionality. For example, the Via 32 video router did pass clean video and did communicate successfuly with a RCP-ABA remote panel via the X-Y protocol, changing the input accordingly to what was entered in the remote. But due to our inability to completely bench test the equipment beyond a basic level, we are selling this lot "as is". Though we do fully expect this equipment to be in good working order and there is not any known problems. Please pay close attention to the pictures to see everything you're getting. Shipping shipping notes for this listing only: Free shipping to any of the 48 states is included in your bid price. Pickup is okay as well, of course. International shipping is possible, but shipping quotes are only available after successful auction end (once items are properly boxed, measured, and weighed). This will ship in multiple boxes. We will try to ship USPS to save on shipping cost, but item(s) may have to go via FEDEX if you live in a country where USPS has a certain size restriction and an item's dimensions are too large to meet the maximum size requirement. We will not charge more than the actual shipping price to international clients. But please understand that international shipping will be expensive, so please keep that in mind before commiting to purchase. To learn more about the noble company called The Broadcast Baron, please visit: Ebay's About Me page The following pertains to our listing terms and conditions. Please read so there is no surprises as to the total cost of your item or any of our polices: Q. Why should I buy from The Broadcast Baron? Rest easy knowing your gear will arrive to you in tip-top shape. We are an experienced seller specializing in broadcast/professional audio and video equipment. Every piece of gear is thoroughly assessed and repaired/maintained as needed. If the rare piece of gear arises that we are not familiar enough with to test or repair properly, service of the item will be outsourced to qualified broadcast technicians or the item will be clearly marked as untested. If any flaws remain at the time the item is listed, they will be fully disclosed so there is no surprises. We believe in customer service and will patiently answer all your questions. We value our reputation and want you to leave happy, knowing you got a great value for your money. We strive to acheive a level of customer satisfaction where The Broadcast Baron name comes to mind whenever you are looking for a piece of equipment - and you are eager to refer us to your friends! Q. What kind of warranty is offered? A. All items include a 30 day warranty unless specified in the auction description as being sold “as is”, untested, or for parts. Item can only be returned if there is a verifiable functional problem not stated in the auction description - not simply because you don’t want it. We reserve the right to repair/replace the unit as an alternative to refund. Buyer is responsible for return shipping. A free copy of our full warranty terms/conditions can be obtained upon request. Q. What happens if the gear arrives with shipping damage? A. The Broadcast Baron takes meticulous care in packaging the items it ships and each item will be fully insured. However, in the unlikely event that shipping damage does occur, you will not be held financially responsible. The item will either be refunded, replaced, or repaired at our discretion. Regardless of whether the shipping company eventually pays us or not on the insurance claim, we honor the 30 day warranty. The only stipulation is that you must fully cooperate with the insurance claim and save all the original packaging. Otherwise, warranty is void for shipping damage issues. Q. Do you sell to international buyers? A. Yes, but not every item we sell can ship to every country. Please look at ebay's shipping and handling section (below the auction) to see which countries each particular item can be shipped to. Q. What forms of payment are accepted? A. Payment must be done before shipment or at the time of pickup/delivery (if transaction is done in person). Paypal is accepted only if it says so in Ebay's payment methods section below the auction description. Some of my listings will allow paypal and some won't - so please check each specific item to make sure. Other accepted methods include cashier’s check, money order, or wire transfer. Company and personal checks can be accepted, but are subject to a routine banking hold of between 3-12 days, depending upon their origin. Escrow can be done only through www.escrow.com and at buyer's expense. Q. How much is dosmetic shipping? A. The buyer is responsible for actual shipping costs. There is no handling or packaging fees. The flat shipping rate listed in each auction is the maximum you can expect to pay for FEDEX ground service to the 48 states. If actual shipping charges turn out to be signficantly less than this amount, you will receive an appropriate discount. We do not want you to overpay for shipping. Or if you desire, shipping can be billed to your UPS/FEDEX/DHL account and we will discount the shipping charge to zero. If you need anything faster than ground service, you will be responsible for the additional cost. Feel free to contact us for an express service shipping quote. Q. How much is international shipping (including Alaska and Hawaii)? A. Buyer is responsible for actual shipping costs. Default shipping method to interational locations is USPS express or USPS priority. Please use the USPS shipping calculator or contact us to get a shipping quote. USPS has different dimensional restrictions for different countries. It may turn out that your item, once packaged, is too large to use USPS service. Also, some items are too valuable to be able to be fully insured by USPS (also this varies by country). If this is the case, you will be given the option to use FEDEX instead and given an appropriate quote for FEDEX international costs. You are also welcome to use any international shipping company of your choice, so long as you pay actual costs for that service. International shipping prices vary greatly depending on your location. Please contact us before bidding for a precise shipping quote and confirmation that the item meets the size/value requirements to go USPS. Q. How much will I owe for sales tax? A. That depends! 1) If you're not in California: 0% 2) If you're in CA and have valid reseller's permit (and fill out reseller certificate): 0% 3) If you're in CA and using the equipment: 5.25% off your normal district tax rate via teleproduction partial exemption. You must fill out tax form 6378 to receive the sales tax discount. The equipment, and the nature of your business, must be predominantly related to post-production. Production equipment does not qualify. EX: Your rate would be 3.00% if I delivered to LA county (which is normally 8.25%). 4) If you're in CA and don't qualify for the teleproduction partial exemption (i.e. you are a corporate user, hobbyist, rental company, this is production equipment, etc): must pay full district rate of the county item is delivered to or picked up from.
