See more about 'Leica IIIf RED DIAL Rangefinder w/50mm f1.5 Summarit' Description This very fine 1953 Leica IIIf Red Dial rangefinder is one model which excites great passion in camera collectors. Even without the coveted self-timer lever fitted this camera is a gem to behold as the photo's below show. The body has been recently serviced and lubricated and is very clean indeed. It does not appear to have ever been mounted on a tripod or had straps attached to the camera! No sign of corrosion and a wonderful camera to hold. The shutter speeds have been checked. If you have never held a Leica in your hands, you cannot imagine the feel of such magnificent build quality and legendary performance. The 5cm f1.5 Summarit lens is smooth and superb and complete with the original lenscap to boot. There is some slight fungus within, but not enough to affect performance. This would not be difficult to have cleaned however. I have to clean out some of my collection and get a life, so here goes!! First the Linhof and now the Leica. ARGH! Check out the photo's below.
