Both units serviced last month.  Head needs a new bulb.  Dimmer on the ballast does not appear to function.  It does power up an Arri PAR head with no problem at all. In a pinch you can use a standard SE HMI bulb with this head.  I have a reflector that someone fitted to it at one time.  The SE bulb will protrude, but you can get a lens in front of it.  A kit also exists to update this head to the current style, taking the SE globes. This is a cheap FF system that lets you pickup an Arri head unit in the future.  LTM head, barn doors, three lenses, header cable and ballast are included.
