There were only about 250 to 350 of these lenses ever made, and it is a very highly prized gem of a lens. This Hologon lens comes complete with the Leitz 15mm viewfinder, the Leitz center filter, both lens caps, the box with matching serial number, and instruction booklet, all original. The lens is in nearly new condition. The glass is perfect and spotless inside and out. The cosmetic appearance is like new, except that it has been on a camera a few times, and has a few very small friction marks on the rear housing from mounting on a Leica body. The viewfinder is like new, but has some haze on the inside surface of the eyepiece, probably from longterm storage. The glass of the center filter is also like new, and there are e few small friction marks on the outside of the metal filter ring. The overall appearance is that everything is like new, except on close inspection. We will refund the purchase price if this item is not as described.
