Description
Do you own a Jimmy Jib III?  Are you looking to go longer or replace some of your tubes or cables?  Up for bid are the tubes, cables, struts, extra shelf with two rotating mounting brackets, instructions, etc., you'd need to backup your existing rig or go larger.  From a "standard plus" to an "extreme" length, you get the pieces you need to make it happen.  Extreme length, in Jimmy Jib terms, is 30 ft. of horizontal reach from the pivot point and up to 35 ft. vertical height. You get between that and 9 ft. of reach. All these items are USED.  Some have scrapes, dings, scratches.  All tubes are recently repainted black due to an international broadcasting gig.  Included, but not pictured, are cloth tube covers as well and directions for the larger jibs setup.  Also, in the foreground of one photo is a white saddle with a "junior" pin. It goes in a light stand to rest the round tubes in as you build the jib.  There are NO electronic cables, controls, batteries, hot head, motors, etc., included with this auction.  This auction is for the mechanical end of increasing your jib size. In other words, what you see is what you get unless I mentioned it earlier.I'm selling this due to the replacement of 'lll" parts for "triangular" parts.  That's why only certain things are being auctioned.  I shoot outside a lot, in strong winds and get flex during fast boom moves with the "extreme" length.  I hope that the triangle will limit that flex but I'll probably get more overall boom movement, in wind, due to the surface area of a Jimmy Jib Triangle.  My point for saying all this is that regardless the scrapes, dings and scratches, all this gear is in PERFECT WORKING ORDER.  I, personally, used all of it within the last two months, on various jobs, both inside and out.  A director doesn't care what your stuff looks like, cosmetically, just as long as you get the shots needed. To replace this auctioned gear with Triangle tubes and rigging is $11,000, which I just paid Stanton Video to send me.   I have the shipping boxes that my triangle pieces just came in and will use them to ship the auctioned items out to the winning bidder.  You should allow upwards of $150-400 for shipping and insurance in addition to your winning bid.  SHIPPING AND INSURANCE IS EXTRA AND NOT INCLUDED IN THE WINNING BID. You'll need APPROXIMATELY four (4) boxes 48x14x14 and maybe two (2) boxes 24x12x20 to pack the stuff. The winning bidder will contact me with their particular requirements for shipping and I'll follow their directions when pricing the shipping.  I'm packing it for free and won't mark-up the shipping costs.
