The G2380 will also work well with long telephoto lenses for still photography following a moving subject, making it easier to achieve one of the most exciting photographic effects, with the subject sharp against a blurred, streaked background. The fluid effect video head uses friction to smooth the movements, adjustable on both the pan and the tilt planes to suit the weight of the camera. Each of the movements can also be locked solid by simply tightening the knob in the center of the friction control. The design of the head allows it to be set up for either left or right handed operation. It includes a dual direction, quick release plate to assist in easy fixing of the camera from the front or rear with a secondary safety catch to protect your camera.
