Description
leangrass Store This is a pair of new/mint Fujinon 7X50 B/IF military spec binoculars with built-in compass. I took it out of the packaging and put the rain guard and neck strap on and gazed at the park in front of my windows probably two or three times and that was it. Fujinon binoculars was first used by the Navy and later on Army adopted it to replace the M22 Steiner binoculars that was used in the war of Dessert Storm in the 1990's. They are great binoculars. All military spec Fujinon binoculars are coated with Megnesium Fluoride which brings up the light transmission to over 95% and for that reason the objective lens often shows some green reflections under light source. I have owned Zeiss binoculars and I can tell you the Fujinon 7x50's are as sharp as the Zeiss 7x50 B/GAT but you don't have to pay $900+ for it.This Fujinon 7x50 is of B/IF spec used in the Navy. "B" stands for long eye relief and "IF" stands for individual focus for the occular lens. It is waterproof and shock resistant. It has a reticle (not the M22 retile used for the Army) and a built-in compass which is touted to be accurate to 1/4 degree. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions. Good luck bidding.
