The NexStar has a built-in Sky Tour, which commands the NexStar to find the most interesting objects in the sky or use the 18,000 object data base. To get the telescope up and running, you need to locate only two stars to align the scope. The scope has a slew speed of 6 degrees, hand controller, an RS-232 port allows use with a computer and software programs. The optics are great, very clean crisp images.
