Are you tired of taking video footage that is shaky, unstable, and lets face it, less than desirable? Are you tired of your camera moving up and down while you try to record a moving object? Do you ever wonder why this dosen't happen in professional productions? The answer is the ''Pro-Glider.'' A Unique dolly & track system that incorporates the versatility of a ''portable and always level'' track system with the ''smooth as silk'' glide action of a mobile dolly! (Optional), By attaching one piece of fish line to each of the two eyebolts on the dolly, then running one line down to the far end of the track, thru another eyebolt and back, you can completely control the dolly travel from one end of the track to the other, and this can be accomplished from one location which is great for capturing video where you would be obstructing the view of an audience, or where the area would otherwise be too narrow for the operator and dolly combined. Each ''all aluminum'' track section slides together and tightens into place with dual hold down clips. The track also incorporates one rubber bumper at each end of every twelve foot section to prevent the dolly from exceeding the track length and  crashing to the ground! The dolly also comes equipped with two securing brackets to ensure it will not derail if jarred abruptly! The wheels straddle the track and are made with a ''semi-soft'' polyurethane coating applied so that no travel noise will be heard! The dolly transition between each track section it superb! If you are looking at the Pro-Glider dolly & track system, you have probably already investigated or maybe even purchased a ''ground travel'' ( dolly & track rest directly on the ground ) dolly & track system. If you purchased one of these systems, you are probably less than impressed with the amount of ''extra time and materials'' ( purchased seperatly of course ) it requires to level out the track sections on uneven surfaces! Don't be misled by companies selling dolly units without the track, there are reasons that they don't offer the track! They claim it is only because the cost of shipping the track would exceed the cost of the track itself, and that is simply not correct unless your track consisted of one piece of one inch diameter by ten foot long tubing. They tell you that just laying the ''round'' tubing on the floor or on jack stands is sufficient and that the dolly wheels will automatically align the track as the dolly moves back and forth. This is only true if the surface is absolutely smooth and also fairly level. Don't forget that any imperfection of the track itself will result in a jarring of the camera and unwanted flaws in your video! As far as just laying round tubing on jack stands, this proves to be quite tricky because if the stands and the ground are not perfectly level, the tubing will roll of and onto the floor! The main reason however, is that they can't come up with a good way to connect the ends of the tubing together where there would be virtually no seams and therefore no bumps. Keep in mind that and imperfections in the track surface, will result in camera vibrations and unwanted video segments! If you take their advice and ''tape'' the ends of the track together, you will end up with raised and weak joints which in turn, again, jarrs the camera! With our Unique ''cross brace and clip'' assembly, these problems were anticipated and headed off, resulting in little or no seam to seam vibrations and a truly ''amazing'' carriage ride from one end of the track to the other! The ''Pro-glider'' is designed to be set up and operated by one person. For tripod track mounting, two inexpensive tripods are required for the outer ends of the track and one tripod or monopod should be used at each six foot interval for track leveling purposes. The camera itself or just about any flat-mount tripod head can be mounted directly to the dolly and rotated a full 360 degrees for recording in any position. You can also ''pan'' the camera right and left while moving the dolly back and forth on the rail system, resulting in professional image capturing and quality! Over 50 feet of track can easily be stacked in the trunk of your vehicle for transportation purposes. When shopping around for a dolly & track system, keep in mind, it's not ''how much'' you spend, rather it's ''what you recieve'' for what you spend that counts!
