Original Packing 100% Genuine B+W Product   Made in Germany  B+W 95mm MRC UV BRASS Filter F-PRO Multi-Coated#45110 Multi-coated to minimize reflection at the filter surfaces which reduces flare and ghosting.  MRC Coating (Multi-Resistant Coating) by B+W is not only an extraordinarily effective multiple layer coating, it is also harder than glass, so that it protects filters from scratches *for instance when cleaning the filters), and it is also water and dirt repellent, thus facilitating filter maintenance. Ultraviolet light, which manifests itself in photographs as reduced clarity and the appearance of haze, is blocked by the UV 010. Ultraviolet light is invisible to the eye and is strong in mountainous and coastal areas with very clear air. This makes the colorless UV 010 an indispensable filter because it requires no exposure compensation.                   It is recommended as an ideal filter to be kept permanently on the lens to protect the front element.
