Description
Arriflex 35BL II. Perfect package for an independent feature,. I have owned this camera since 1986. I purchased it from Film Art in LA. They supplied the cameras for the TV show "CHIPS" and when the series ended sold the packages. This camera operates perfectly and is extremely quiet. It has always been serviced by Axel Broda one of the worlds top Arriflex technicians. PACKAGE CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: * Camera body with sliding base plate and rods * 2 1000 foot magazines with cases * 2 400 foot magzines with case * Angenieux 2.8 20-120 zoom lens with blimp housing * Angenieux 3.2 25-250 zoom lens * Ziess 2.2 primes 16, 24, 32, 50,80 mm * CEI IV black & white flicker free video tap * Precision speed control * 4x4 & 6x6 matte boxes * Victory double block battery * 4x4 & 6x6 85 filters 85, N3, N6, N9 * 6x6 set of diffusion * 4x4 1/4 & 1/8 pro mist * Barney * Full support Standard, sawed off, baby legs; hi hat spreader, oconnor 100 fluid head - Mitchell base * Anvil cases for body primes & mags, Arri case for 20-120 & blimp * Changing bag Like I said this is a perfect package for an independent feature or smaller commercial production house. Camera was last serviced by Axel in 2004 at which time a new mirrored shutter was installed. Since that time we have run maybe 15,000 feet of film through it. Here are the only issues with the package. 1. There is a crack in one of the legs of the sawed offs. 2. The CEI tap is tube not CCD so the black & white image is ok for reference but thats about it. 3. One of the ears on the 16mm (that engage the focus ring on the 4x4 matte box )is loose). 4. The anvil cases (except for the 1000 mags) are old and beat up but ship just fine. I will also include 6 400 foot rolls of 5218 that are unopened, $1400 worth of film (they have been refrigerated since June). Anyone wanting this package is encouraged to inspect it in person or I can shoot a steadiness test and send you the film for processing and viewing or I can have the footage processed here if you want to pay for the processing and transfer. I have plenty of short ends so there's no charge for the film. I would deduct the processing and transfer costs from the total price if you are the winning bidder. Please only bid if you are serious about this package. It is sold AS IS unless you are local (Sacramento or Bay Area) and pick it up. In that case I will provide a 7 day return policy if you are not satisfied.
