G. Frame for large quarter plate size daguerreotypes. Outside is almost 9"x9.5" and inside is 3.8"x4.4". It is in good user condition with its veneer in tact except for a could of splits that could be glued down. There are a couple of scrapes and scratches but over all a great display with patina for age of c1840. It has two old nails used originally for hanging string and one old nail in the opening. It also has a round brass ring to hang by. Bid high and Bid often ... you might not have a chance at ever seeing one like this again. BEAUTIFUL FOR DISPLAY. As condition is subjective ...
