Description
RD616 16-channel Digital Radio Slave / AAA battery-operated _____________________________________________________ This auction includes the following items: One transmitter/sender Two receivers/triggers Two 1/8" plug converters One 12" pc sync cord for camera that does not have a hot shoe ( for connection between the camera and the transmitter ) . The hot shoe adapter shown in the photo is not included. ( Ask seller ) Extra receivers are avalable with free shipping. ( Ask seller ) __________________________________________________________ Item Description The transmitter/sender fits on camera's hot shoe and triggers a remote flash, a studio strobe or a flash power pack up to 3000 W/S to which the receiver is attached. It contains one user-installable 12V alkaline photo battery (installed). It can trigger some 20,000 times continuously with one battery. The transmitter has a test button so you can trigger your remote flash manually for metering purpose. Low 5.5V triggering voltage, safe to all modern digital/film cameras: Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Fuji, etc. and works well with Vivitar series, Britek, Bowens, Alen Bees, Elinchrom and Courtenay flash units, etc. Not fit a flash that has an H-prong receptacle without an adapter. Slave range: 150 feet/50m approx. / output power < 2 mW / frequency 433 MHZ. The receiver/trigger triggers the flash/strobe/power pack it is attached to at a sync speed up to 1/1000 sec. It uses two AAA alkaline batteries (not included). Attention: this unit renders malfunction if Ni-MH 1.2V rechargeable batteries are being used. The receiver has a standard 1/4" (6mm) phone jack plug for attachment to many monolights and other studio flashes that use this type of connection. It also comes with one 1/8" (3mm) pc sync plug adapter which is designed for use with studio flash/strobe that use this type of connection. The receiver has a female pc sync socket and you may use the included 12" pc sync cord to connect the receiver with any type of hot shoe flash that has a pc sync socket. See photo below. EXCEPTION: These Nikon flashes: SB-23, SB-24, SB-28, SB-600, SB-800, etc., some do not have a pc sync socket and some do have one but the 12" pc sync cord included in the radio slave kit does not work ( though the size fits ) with the flash's pc socket. They need a hot shoe adapter. Ask seller for the adapter at low price with free shipping ( It is not listed on eBay). If your hot shoe flash does not have a pc sync socket such as Canon 420EX, a hot shoe adapter is needed for the connection. Hot shoe adapter connection diagram ( the receiver shown here is non-RD616. It is for demonstration only) One transmitter can trigger many receivers so long as they are within effective slave range. Receivers must be about 5 ft apart with each other in order to avoid mutual interference if you are using more than one receivers. Extra receivers are avalable with free shipping. Please send e-mail for detail. _________________________________________________________________ One sender can trigger many receivers. __________________________________________________ Digital Radio Slave Trigger The digitally encoded radio signal is extremely reliable, unlike the common analog radio signal which is apt to radio interference such as cellular phones, pagers and cordless microphones which are often the case in a wedding party. The encoded radio signal assures interference-free reception. It works indoors and outdoors, around corners and through walls. With this transmitter mounted on your camera, when you release the shutter, the signal is sent and the receiver receives/decodes the signal and triggers a remote flash/strobe/power pack to which it is attached, even if it is in the next room! As the transmitter's output power is so low at less than 2 mW, this radio slave will not cause interference to any other electronical devices and the triggering voltage is so low at under 6V that it is safe to all modern cameras. RETURN/REFUND POLICY Item carries 14 days examination period for free replacement or full refund. One year manufacturer's warranty. Seller is NOT responsible for any return shipping cost under any circumstances. ____________________________________________________________________________ Any questions about shipping, etc, please send e-mail before you place a bid. Thanks. We do not ship to Italy.
