Description
marjfra store 86mm HOYA Skylight (1B) filter: Japan-made; RRP $136.00 Description: 86mm HOYA Skylight (1B) filter You are bidding on a HOYA Skylight (1B) 86mm filter. Recommended Retail Price (RRP) for this filter is AUD$136.00. Yes, the picture looks like it is an 88mm filter, but it is an 86mm filter...guaranteed! This filter is to be mounted to lenses with an 86mm thread and can be used with B&W, colour negatives, slide films, as well as digital and video cameras with the correct diameter thread. This is a high quality Japanese-made HOYA Skylight (1B) filter, as opposed to the cheaper / lesser quality (in my opinion) 'Skylight', Phillipines-made Hoyas currently available!! As a photographer friend said to me recently, "Putting an inferior filter over your camera lens is the same as having a defective element in your lens." Hoya filters are guaranteed not to affect your images in a negative way. Hoya optical filters are made from high-grade optical glass. Hoya 86mm 1B Filter has coatings applied to both surfaces to suppress reflection and increase light transmission. Hoya Glass Filters are some of the best available. Tokina employs Hoya Glass in all their AT-X Lenses. Hoya also makes Canon Filters! These glass filters create clear and perfect contrast between landscape (or seascape) with blue sky and clouds. Can be regarded the most useful, perhaps essential, filter for bright outdoor pictures. Constant use of this filter is recommended for clearer pictures as well as a lens protector. Optical filters ensure sharp and brilliant images without ever impairing the lens quality. Made in Japan. Filter is in EXCELLENT+++ condition....scratch-free. I don't have a case for the filter, but it will be well protected during postage. Buyer pays shipping costs. Cheques to clear before lens will be posted. E-mail me with any questions BEFORE bidding. I now mainly list 'Private Auction'...this is to protect bidders from spam and unscrupolous eBay members offering similar / identical items after an auction finishes. CONDITIONS OF SALE PAYMENT Please have payment to me within 7 days. Advise me if you are posting payment, or if there are any short-term issues that are delaying payment....just so I know what's happening. If I don't hear from you by the 7th day, I will assume that you are a Non-Paying Bidder and the auction will become null and void. I WILL lodge a 'non-payment' complaint with eBay, and will re-list the item, or offer it to the next highest bidder. I've been getting far too many non-payers in the past few weeks, especially from new members. I'm nearly at the point where I will start cancelling bids from eBayers with a zero (0) history. For Australian bidders, payment by either: 1. PAYPAL 2. Direct deposit into my bank account.3. Cheque (I will post the item after your cheque clears). For international bidders, preferred payment method is: 1. PayPal 2. International Money Orders / cashiers cheques in AUSTRALIAN dollars. Add a further AUD $10 (USD $8) to cover bank fees if sending International Money Orders / cashiers cheques in currency other than Australian dollars. No USPS postal money orders, as these are not negotiable outside the USA. POSTAGE All items are packaged with EXTRA care and dispatched after payment is received. I try to use quality recycled packing material if possible, it helps the planet. PLEASE READ THIS: I generally pack items on the weekend, and post them early in the week (usually Monday, but occasionally Tuesday…. depending on what my work schedule allows). I clearly state in the listing that I will post within 5 working days of receiving CLEARED PAYMENT. I have a life outside of eBay: this includes a family and a full time job! DO NOT expect an item to be packed and posted on the day the auction finishes. For international bidders, I will ONLY post via Registered AirMail. Delivery will usually take between 3-10 working days, as per the Australia Post site, but could be 3-4 weeks depending on both of our postal carriers. I have NO control over this. Do not email and/or whinge at me due to the post office's slow delivery.....I can't help you. YOU can call them! Registration only adds an extra AUD$5.00 to AirMail. With Paypal pretty much being the only payment option available, I need to be able to provide proof of posting, and a tracking number should an item go "missing". This is the only way PayPal’s "Buyer Protection Program" will cover us. Within Australia, I generally use Express Post or Registered Post. They both have tracking numbers and have AUD$100.00 insurance included. Express Post usually takes 2-3 working days to anywhere in Australia. Note that I DO NOT live within Australia Post's over-night network. Registered Post takes approximately 5-7 working days to the east coast of Australia (I’m in Perth…. 3500-4000km from Vic or NSW!!), but could be up to 2 weeks depending on the post office. I have NO control over this. Do not email and/or whinge at me due to the post office's slow delivery.....I can't help you. YOU can call them! I will occasionally use Regular Post for small and/or inexpensive items. Please note that there is NO insurance included and NO way to track an item this way. For a small extra fee, registration is advisable. I have never had a Registered Post or Express Post item go missing in transit. I’ve had 2 or 3 Regular Post items go missing over the years, but I’m sure that the “non-receiver” was trying to deceive me into refunding their purchase costs while keeping the item I had sent!! WHY SHOULD YOU BUY FROM ME? I mainly sell and buy photographic equipment. I am located in AUSTRALIA.....you will pay BIG postage (plus insurance) for items from the USA, Hong Kong or Canada. I have been an eBay member since 2000. I have over 1500 eBay transactions completed. I have been an avid amateur photographer for over 20 years. I know cameras, lenses and accessories. I am a POWERSELLER. Do you really want to buy from someone selling a "Hoya 58mm skylight 1A telephoto zoom lens" in perfect condition, who thinks that it fits a Canon camera? Perhaps you want to buy from someone selling a Minolta AF compatible item (eg tele-converter clearly marked 'M-AF'), but they tell you it fits a Nikon AF cameras? Just remember there are many people out there selling photographic equipment who do not know if the item works, is fault-free, what sort of camera it fits, or even if it's clean and fungus-free! FEEDBACK Not much more that I can say about eBay's crappy new feedback policy. NEW EBAYERS If you are new to eBay, welcome. I’m happy to deal with you and to help you create a positive history. Please remember that your winning bid is final. It does not give you the option of buying the item….it means that you WILL be buying the item. Do not bid unless you intend paying for the item. GUARANTEE Items are sold "AS DESCRIBED". Remember, we are dealing with used / 2nd hand equipment here (unless otherwise stated). Note: I guarantee that the item will be in working order when you receive it, or I will refund you the purchase price, not the postage costs. It is a very, very rare occurrence that an item I sell is faulty. Return postage at your cost. Goods are usually checked as far as is reasonable and possible, and are sold without any implicit or expressed warranty. The description I give is as accurate as possible. I will not knowingly mislead you. Check my feedback, there are numerous references to “as described”, or “better than described”. Further information on what I’m selling is available by email request. FURTHER INFORMATION I am not a dealer, and as such will not provide any form of warranty. I’m just a keen amateur who has accumulated (hoarded!!) a heap of camera equipment over the years, and it’s now time to get rid of the bulk of it. I also love to check out 2nd hand shops, and if anything interesting turns up, I’ll purchase it, clean it, play with it, and then sell it off. Before you bid on any of my auction items please verify it's compatibility with your equipment by checking the manufacturer's web site, the internet, or your user's manual etc. Apart from the description above and the items as pictured, no other accessories, components, warranties, manuals or other material of any kind are included in this auction. Please do not assume that anything other than the items described will be supplied to the high bidder. All sales are FINAL....NO RETURNS, unless the item is faulty. Please ask questions BEFORE you bid. Do not e-mail me asking whether I have such and such for sale. Do not e-mail me 1-2 hours before the auction ends asking for postage costs to the upper reaches of the Nile…or to the outer suburbs of Ulaanbaatar. I’m not the Post Office. Do this with plenty of time. I do not accept credit cards…and even if I did, certainly NOT from Indonesia. I am happy to sell to Indonesia, but payment as per item description ONLY. I do not end auctions early to sell items privately, so don’t ask. DON’T EVEN THINK OF BIDDING IF YOU HAVE AN OVERALL EBAY NEGATIVE FEEDBACK RATING (ie -1 etc). I WILL CANCEL YOUR BID. I ALSO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL YOUR BID (AND BLOCK YOU FROM BIDDING ON MY ITEM), IF YOU HAVE A HISTORY OF NEGATIVE FEEDBACK FOR NOT PAYING AFTER WINNING AN ITEM. DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU UNDERSTAND AND ACCEPT MY TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
