It has a removable interior bar which attaches to your camera mount socket with a machine screw. This interior bar then is inserted into a T-slot in the main slidebar through either end. The camera now has a throw of 11 inches. You take two images of the subject 3" to 11" apart with a film camera with slide film. You then take the two slides produced and put them in a 3D viewer. Or you can use a digital camera and produce two images to view on your computer screen, or as digital prints, or have the image files transferred to 35mm slidefilm and view in a hold to the light 3D viewer. You can use wider interlens distances up to 11 inches to magnify the depth in a distant scene such as a landscape, or mountain landscape, or a whole town from a hill top.
