There are certain rules which are governed by E-bay that all Buyers and Sellers need to adhere to in order to participate. Beyond that, Sellers are independent operators, and do have additional parameters and limitations which are allowed and need to be understood as well before bidding.     Messages E-mail is not Instant Messenger. It is mail, and it may not be responded to immediately. Also understand that messages sent within a couple hours of the listing closing time, may not be received and responded to before the listing ends. It happens.     Condition Condition is in the “Eye’s of the Beholder”. How true. This is a subjective area. I have used the rating scale of Mint, Mint-, Exc+, Exc, Exc-, Fair, Poor, and Rough for many years now. Looking at the overall condition – not an area, spot, or function. On rare occasion, there is a disagreement. My biggest point here is that Exc or Exc+ are not Mint. That seems to be the one that meets those rare occasions.     Bidding / Canceling bids / ending early I do not end listings early – sorry. I also do not cancel bids. Bidding is the responsibility of the Buyer and bidding requires not just a bid, but a confirmation as well. So it is not like these are accidental to occur. Buyers can remove bids via “Bid Retraction” in “Buyer Tools”. The reason may not be acceptable, but that is the only way. In the event that a bid is made and found to be in error for a valid reason, alternative arrangements will be offered by the Seller. That will be the choice however.     Shipping costs From the first item I ever listed with E-bay, I have and continue to provide the S/H charges right in the listing. Up front. No surprises. Bid accordingly. If you do not agree with the charges, then please do not bid. These charges consider the costs of outer and inner packaging, labeling, documentation requirements (where needed), and transportation costs to get packages to the post office (which is not nearby). So again, if you do not like it, don’t bid on it. But I can assure you, items are packaged for safe transit.     Combined Shipping Yes, this is available. In the event that multiple items are bid on and won, an Invoice will be sent to combine. However, if the items are paid before that can occur, or if winning bids are timed apart from each other (more than 7 days). Combining will not occur. So please, let me know there are additional items being bid upon, or hold payment until the combined Invoice is sent.     Ins / tracking The Seller is not responsible for packages shipped without optional Insurance. I leave this at the Buyer’s option, as to their comfort based on their delivery conditions. There is an additional cost per package and NOT a part of the S/H Price stated in the listing.     Shipping Shipping service is contracted primarily via USPS in this type item. No one here is actually delivering packages to anyone’s address or location. I will assist wherever possible if needed, but please know this fact. Please note that delivery routes used by carriers are not as simple as one may think. Example – we watched a tracked package leave Los Angeles, destined for Phoenix. Just a 5 hour drive away. But the package went via Las Vegas, to Iowa City, Memphis, and El Paso to get to Phoenix. Seems ridiculous, but somewhere in their logistics process it works for them. That is certainly out of the Seller’s control.     International Packages All quotes for International shipping are for Standard First Class Air Mail (unless otherwise advised). This service is not tracked and generally takes 5 to 10 days. However, depending upon actual destinations and governmental / customs issues this service can take up to 30 days. If customs is being critical it can take 45 days. This information is based upon my experiences over the years now. If you require traceable shipment, it is much more expensive, but can be quoted upon request.     Shipping Timing I will re-state here, that packages are delivered to the Postal / delivery agent twice per week. There are no set days, as my schedule changes, and I try to be as efficient at those trips as possible.     Payment I accept PayPal, International Money Orders (in US Funds), Checks (10-day CCR – Check Clearance Required), US Dollars (at your risk), and Trades. If you have equipment to trade or sell, this can be useful for many Buyers, so please ask first.     Returns My Listings clearly state whether the item is Guaranteed for 30 Days or As-Is. And they are just that. However, if there is an issue with an item that was not described on a Guaranteed item, please let me know. If it is returned, it must be in the same condition it was shipped / received in. Otherwise – we will have a new problem to deal with. If an item is returned that is found to not have a problem – the purchase price ONLY will be refunded. If the item is agreed to be a problem, a full refund will be issued.
